EssentOptics introduce the state-of-art LINZA 150 lens testing spectrophotometer at Optatec 2016

EssentOptics will be announcing their state of the art, LINZA 150 lens measurement spectrophotometer at Optatec 2016 (Frankfurt/Main, 7-9 June, 2016). The ground-breaking new product is set to revolutionize the way transmittance and reflectance are measured on lenses.

The company, who are well known for their innovative PHOTON RT spectrophotometer designed for fully unattended measurement of flat optics from UV to Mid-wave IR, will remove the veil of secrecy from their cutting-edge lens measurement technology. Indeed, lenses come in vast variety of sizes and shapes which makes them extremely difficult to measure. Given the inherent challenges in trying to measure transmittance or reflectance on lenses, optical engineers often need to combine data from a several witness samples in order to tease out basic details about optical performance of a lens. However, due to the nature of any deposition technology, the coating on lenses differs from that on the witness sample. Even more insurmountable barrier is the need to measure the off-axis optical lens performance.

The world’s first LINZA 150 spectrophotometer is designed to dramatically ease the challenges facing measurement of lenses. Powered with keen-eyed detectors and unique VarioDrive automatic on-axis/off-axis reflectance measurement technology, the LINZA 150 instrument offers a balanced combination of operation simplicity, productivity and style.

EssentOptics’ Director, Taras Lisouski commented, “We all here are very proud to announce our new technology. We have been inspired by many of our customers asking to solve the problem of trustful and fast lens measurement. Although being truly revolutionary in design, LINZA 150 is in fact developed to fit very well into lab environment and daily life of optical experts.”

We warmly invite you to visit our booth at Optatec 2016 and enjoy the art of technology. This year we are exhibiting with VM-TIM GmbH, our distributor for Germany, Austria and Switzerland at HALL 3.0, STAND C15.
