EssentOptics expands its line of ECLAT high-performance spectrophotometers and IRIS broadband optical monitoring systems

EssentOptiсs announces addition of new instrumentation to the list of its optical products. On the basis of recently completed studies a new instruments, ECLAT 0417 and IRIS 0417 with an extended spectral range 380-1700 nm, are offered starting January 2011. Both intruments are based on EOS spectrometers which are also developed by EssentOptics.

High-performance ECLAT 0417 spectrophotometers are designed for multiple and routine control measurements or reflectance and transmittance. The ECLAT 0417 inherited all the advantages of the ECLAT series, including a large sample table, the presence of full-function reflectance measurement, as well as fast switching between transmittance and reflectance measurement modes. With an extremely fast measurement capability (just about 1 second) the ECLAT spectrophotometers are specifically designed for use in optical and educational laboratories, as well as at sites of deposition of optical coatings for fast and accurate testing the basic characteristics of optical components with coatings.

The IRIS 0417 broadband optical monitoring system is the one of the most technically advanced spectral system manufactured by our company. Application of IRIS 0417 allows you to work on a vast variety of sophisticated optical coatings within the 380-1700 nm range when the defined optical parameters must be met simultaneously in several spectral intervals (eg, laser coatings). The new IRIS 0417 system is also effective at carrying out research or small-scale coating jobs with the need to obtain thin films for visible or infrared range at different times using the same vacuum coater. Joint application of IRIS systems and the MultiSpectrum thin film calculation software allows you to supervise the deposition process and to detect faults in the very early stages of the process.
