EssentOptics has commissioned a new AKRA 0450 single wavelength optical monitoring system for the Federal State Unitary Enterprise "SPO" Analitpribor "(Smolensk, Russia) in January 2011.
The customer has selected the new AKRA 0450 system due to a wide range and complexity of new tasks to be solved. A sophisticated electro-optical and software configuration of the system allows not only to control the deposition of any coatings within 380-5000 nm range, but also to display the whole spectrum of each layer. The later feature allows for the visual comparison of actual and calculated spectra.
"The staff of our laboratory is working closely with EssentOptics' specialists for more than five years", says the head of the laboratory of optical filters Igor Lapitski. "During our cooperation were have launched three single-wave photometric systems: one system for UV and visible spectral range, another for IR range, and the latest AKRA 0450 system for the range of 380-5000 nm, launched this year. In our opinion, this system represents a product which combines all the latest developments and design solutions, accumulated over a long period of our cooperation. With this system we already produce coatings which almost perfectly correspond to the theoretical designs".
