EssentOptics announces new improvements for its popular broadband AKRA optical monitoring systems. The new improvements are realized for models AKRA 0450 (380-5000 nm range) and AKRA 1550 (1500-5000 nm range).
Specialists of the company have upgraded the amplifier of PbSe photodetector for IR range. In particular, a new amplifier circuit was developed and successfully tested. The new design showed its efficiency in improving the signal-to-noise ratio from 100/1 to 300/1 (at ten averages). Additionally, an extended spectral range of 1200-5000 nm is now available as standard for the AKRA 1550 systems. The latest upgrades will enable our customers to reduce measurement time and improve accuracy of measurements.
The first AKRA 1550 and AKRA 0450 optical monitoring systems with upgraded design will be shipped to customers in November and December 2010.
