Recently one of our customers approached us with request to measure transmittance of several short-throw mini objectives. Carrying out such measurements in most cases it is not possible because of the optical and design constraints.
In this particular case, the focal length of the lens assembly was only 12 mm and the clear apperture was just 9 mm.
Nevertheless, our engineers found a good solution which allowed to measure transmittance and generate results for all lens assemblies using our brand-new LINZA 150 lens measurement spectrophotometer.
